Joshua Enahoro
Co-Founder and CEO
Joshua Enahoro is a visionary Entrepreneur with vast experience in the energy sector. He has experience working as a Design Engineer in the UK’s largest marine equipment manufacturing company, Cathelco Ltd. He also served as a Development Director at Continental Engineering Ltd., Nigeria’s leading indigenous power transmission EPC company. He is a Masters graduate of Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK and Masters in Energy Engineering and Management, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.
Sinah-Nikola Käfferlein
Co-Founder and CTO
Sinah-Nikola Kaefferlein has a background in patent engineering and intellectual property management, starting her career at Mercedes-Benz Intellectual Property GmbH & Co. KG in November 2018. She specializes on software innovations, advising on invention disclosures, and driving patent strategies. Sinah earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Patent Engineering from the Technical University of Appliance Sciences Amberg-Weiden, Germany, and Master in Information Systems Engineering and Management in KIT.
Vahid Ghaiurane
Co-Founder and CFO
Vahid Ghaiurane, serving as a key figure in renewable energy and technology at Vrakos Grid, boasts a rich foundation in Energy Engineering and Management from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. His academic journey is complemented by a role as a research assistant, focusing on system optimization for decentralized energy systems. Before stepping into the realm of research, Vahid led as a Rotating Equipment & Packaged Units Lead Engineer in Tehran, Iran, where he excelled in coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering tasks for EPC projects.

Shortly after Vrakos Grid was founded, the company participated in the esteemed Grow Founding Contest in Karlsruhe, a testament to our journey of innovation and growth. Competing among top contenders, our startup stood out, earning us the esteemed second place. This achievement marked a pivotal moment in our company’s history, reaffirming our commitment to pushing boundaries and leading the charge in sustainable transportation and energy solutions. As we reflect on this achievement, we are inspired to continue our journey of innovation, driven by our vision of a greener, more sustainable future.
Following our success at the Grow Founding Contest, Vrakos Grid embarked on an exciting new chapter by participating in the Axel Accelerator in Baden-Württemberg. This accelerator program provided us with invaluable resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities, accelerating our growth and solidifying our position as pioneers in the sustainable energy sector.
Building on this momentum, we expanded our horizons globally by joining the Clean Energy Bootcamp in Kenya. This immersive experience has allowed us to collaborate with industry leaders, gain insights into international markets, and explore innovative solutions in clean energy and sustainability. Our participation in the bootcamp reaffirms our commitment to driving positive change on a global scale and underscores our dedication to creating a more sustainable future for all.
